By undertaking different projects, inspiring curiosity, personal contacts and intergenerational dialog GINED will foster intercultural understanding and en essential interdependence among generations.
The founders believe that the open bridges between the societies and generations will help to the perception that all members of society have contributions to make and needs to fulfil.
The examples of personal experiences for successful, legal immigration and integration into the foreign society may be a worthwhile experience to share as an alternative to irregular migration.
Project proposal & Justification
The preparation of school students for life as active and responsible citizens, able to enjoy their fundamental rights and practice their duties is one of the most important area that has been required constant intervention.
It is now widely recognised that skills and competences needed for education, working and living can be acquired in a variety of ways outside the framework of formal educational systems.
Thats why we decided to carry out boots-on-the ground project ”Informal week with GINED" that provides informal learning platform enhancing accessibility, participation and rewards for beneficiaries.
Pilot project will offer the week-long informal learning opportunities for 5 primery school students through learning by doing and learning by experiencing.
Within the projects framework visiting to the different public and cultural institutions, outdoor activities and excursions will be arranged to prompt cultural exchange, social inclusion and awareness of social rights, as well as building young peoples competences in the areas of tolerance, human rights and democratic principles.
Our goal as an Organization is to reach out and unleash the opportunities inside every individual, to encourage the engaged citizenship.
As a contribution to the pilot project, the young founders of GINED decided to hand over to organization their own apartment (90 sqm.) in temporary use. It is supposed to be initially free of charge or rented at a minimum prise.
The apartment will be appropriate for accommodation 5 beneficiaries, visiting Denmark within the projects framework.
Significant amount of volunteering has also being intended from founders.
Seeing the overall picture and being able to contribute to it, we believe that undertaking project ”Informal week with GINED” is the rewarding path.

Some cases:
Khatia Gvanceladze , physician from Georgia who was invited by IHA (International Headache association) in CPH for a semester fellowship program.
She wrote:
”My name is Khatia Gvantseladze, I’m a neurologist from Georgia. I would like to tell a few words about the time I spent at Nick and Tamar’s home during my clinical fellowship at Danish Headache Center. First of all, I would like to mention that this international project appeared to be one of the best social experiences to me. Nick and Tamar surprised me with their warm and generous hospitality, no matter the fact our background is Georgian and hosting is one of the oldest and habitual traditions for Georgians. Appearing in absolutely different surroundings abroad it is still very difficult to adapt and fall into the new rhythm, but it was quite easy for me, as I felt myself home with them. Practically, they shared all their time, investments and caring over me, which I find to be a precious gift a life can offer. I appreciate this with all my heart and I’m really honored to have an opportunity of knowing Nick and Tamar. ”
GINED has sponsored Culinary Internships and self-directed informal learning Trip For Nino Turashvili - "lady cook" from Georgia, in Copenhagen, Danmark .
Within the framework of the project ”Everything you can du counts” Nino Turashvili has had two culinary internships to the restourants: ”Den Gylden Hane” and ”den Gamle Grænsekro” in Kolling, Danmark.
